That’s the Problem, Clayton

Clayton County is an Atlanta suburb, and its school district has lost its accreditation. The first sentence in the AJC article on the issue today reads, “Clayton County school officials promised Tuesday that every senior will graduate with an accredited diploma in May.”

Note to Clayton County officials: promising that every senior is going to graduate may be part of the reason your school district lost accreditation in the first place. You can’t graduate the students who don’t learn the material and expect your diploma to mean anything.
