Taliban Demands Cell Service Off at Night

The Taliban is afraid the US Military is tracking them down when they use their cell phones at night, and so they’re demanding that wireless providers in Afghanistan turn off service in the country between 5pm and 7am. Here’s the story. There are few landlines in the country so cell phones are the primary means of communication in most of the country. Presumably, they’ll attack the cell towers and related infrastructure if their demands aren’t met. That should really further endear them to the folks over there.
