SNL got it somewhat right, for once.

Too bad they yanked it from the NBC site within hours. It’s not easily embeddable so you’ll have to click over to to view it, as the youtube versions keeps getting pulled.

The video is a mock C-SPAN press conference with President Bush, Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and Rep. Barney Frank. There are also several mock victims of the housing crisis.

They say it was pulled because at one point, when two of the supposed victims turns out to be a couple who made a huge pile of cash on the deal selling fraudulent loans to Wachovia appear, the C-SPAN overlay says under their names, “People who should be shot.” NBC has the video back up now, sans the “should be shot” overlay.
