Gun Bill Passes House, Another Passes Senate Committee

A gun bill passed the Georgia House Monday (Feb 12th) that would allow gun owners to carry their firearms anywhere in their vehicles or “where they feel is the safest place for their personal protection.”

The bill passed 130 to 38 now moves to the Senate.

Update by Scott: Another bill has passed its Senate Committee. This one would bar employers from banning guns in parking lots. It rightfully and easily passed, as to ban guns in the parking lot leaves the employee defenseless all the way to and from work. It has some exceptions and should be broader, but it’s a good step forward.
